FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
When you choose to subscribe to an annual DigiCARE plan, you will pay for 11 months and get one month free.
We will also enable our advanced security suite which offers even more peace of mind.
The offer of a free SSL certificate is available to our clients who host their website with us.
If you don't host your site with us, we are happy to talk to you about how to go about changing hosts, if that is what you would like to do.
If you are happy with your host, you will need to discuss SSL certificate options with them.
A support ticket is when you ask us for help do either fix a problem, or make some content updates.
Support ticket bundled entitlements mean you are able to ask us for help x times a month (where x = the number of support tickets included in your subscription)
Each support ticket raised will be worked on by our team for a maximum of 15 minutes. Should your ticket appear to us as though it will take longer than 15 minutes, we will advise you.
You can then choose to accept our quote or cancel your ticket.
You may also "merge" tickets to achieve longer work time on any particular task. ie you may log a support ticket, and we can use 2 or your support ticket entitlement to have our team work on your task for a maximum of 30 minutes.
The discount listed here is the discount that is attracted to our subscribers of corresponding plans.
For example, if you were a DigiCARE Proactive subscriber, and required work over and above your support ticket entitlement, a 5% discount will apply to our standard hourly rate for all time spent over and above the entitlement.
Our standard response time for support tickets is 24 hours*.
Our standard response to urgent website down requests is 12 hours*.
When you sign up to our DigiCARE Secure package or higher, we will answer your support tickets within 8 working hours and start work on urgent site down requests within 4 hours.
* Within the standard week. Does not include weekends. ie if you log a support ticket at 4pm on Friday, we may not reply until 4pm Monday.

The advanced security suite includes all the features of our security suite as well as:
- Spamvertising checks
- Spam checks

Simply choose to host your website with Digital Concepts and pay your account using our preferred method of direct debit.
Websites hosted with other providers are eligible for free web hosting.
Websites hosted with Digital Concepts where the payment option is other than direct debit are eligible for free web hosting.
Should there be an events that threaten the security of your website, our team will be notified and will investigate the reason for the threat as well as take any action required to ensure the site stays secure.
This is where we apply some clever mechanics behind the scenes to make your website run as fast as it can. It includes activating some special code on the server (supercomputer) where your website lives, and enabling a content delivery network to help serve your files to users.
Note that our website speed booster is only available to websites that are hosted by Digital Concepts.
Our team will install a premium plugin on your website ($300 value) that will assist you in creating content that will be noticed by the search engines.
You are able to use these tools right from the content pages to see how your edits affect your chances of ranking.
The tool will also ensure that the readability of your content is not compromised to keep your users engaged.
Video user manuals are a series of videos that have been created to demonstrate a huge range of administrative tasks for WordPress.
The library of vidoes will be added to your site, and will be accessible from your admin panel. You will be able to access these videos at any time you need. They contain very useful information for website administrators and save you time searching the internet for 'how to' guides.
One of our Digital Architects will be available for you to speak to once a month.
These calls can be used for anything you like - how to maintain your websites content, learning even more about WordPress admin, getting advice on how to get to where you want to be, figuring out SEO strategies - whatever you like.
You will be provided with a link that you are able to make your booking at a time that suits you.
Once your signup is complete, we will have your plan set up within 24 hours.
All the features of your plan will be enabled within this time. It may take a little extra time for some of the performance tweaks of our website speed booster to take effect.
We will send you a series of introductory emails detailing how to request support, the best screen capture tools to use and giving you some tips on what information to include in your tickets.
Our care plans each cover one single site. If you have multiple sites as subdomains of a site (e.g. digitalconcepts.co.nz and othersite.digitalconcepts.co.nz) they still count as separate sites. If you have 3 websites that you'd like us to manage, you'll need 3 plans, one for each site. You are more than welcome to choose different plans for each website.
No, this is not a requirement.
Some features of some plans require websites to be hosted on our servers to enjoy the full range of benefits. This is because our servers are set up and optomised for WordPress websites.
We are unable to guarantee results on websites that are not hosted on our servers.
If you do wish to host your website with Digital Concepts, simply drop us a line - we may be able to assist with free migration to our service.
Well, you certainly can if you are super keen, but the updates are not always problem free and it’s probably not the best use of your time. If things do go wrong and we’re doing the updates, we can fix the problem at the same time or roll the site back to the last backup.
No, we can’t. While we will take steps to reduce the risks, there will still be things outside of our control that can overwhelm a website or the server it is on – and online security threats are ever evolving
No. Bundles support ticket entitlements do not 'roll over' and must be used within the calendar month.
Any additional support hours will be charged at our standard rate minus any discounts attracted by your subscription.
No. We have kept our pricing fairly lean to allow us to do the best job we can.
We simply don't have budget with these low prices to enable us to have a full time resource dedicated to phone support.
