The Omaka Scout Camp committee approached Digital Concepts to create them a fresh new website that was easy to use, looked great but had all the goodies under the hood to make it intuitive and functional.
The camp was struggling to increase the number of bookings made online and were constantly fielding phone calls from potential guests seeking information about the camp and its facilities.
Omaka needed a website that housed all the information in a logical way that was easy to find again another day. They also needed a way for guests to make their booking online without installing a full hotel management system.

- Content Strategy
- User Experience Design
- Front End Development
- Search Engine Optimization
- Facebook Management
A new website was developed using the WordPress framework.
We scouted out all the information that needed to be on the site, and laid this all out in a logical manner utilising drop down menus to group related content.
To tackle the online booking requirement, we developed a multi-layered multi-page form that would collect all the required information from potential guests, present them with terms and conditions to accept and display an indicative price based on the selections made.
We were also able to incorporate digital signature technology to enable certain types of guests to digitally sign the form which became the basis of a contract.
Some smart use of gathering posts and images from Omaka's social media platforms meant that the team at the camp could create one story, or post one photo and rest easy knowing that these would show up on their website.
